Hi guys,

I am planning on setting up a small network using Zyxel hardware. I wanted to ask whether the hadware that I have chosen will work in the required way.

My requirement is to have several (3-4) subnets that are completely segragated from eachother, but sharing a single internet connection.

I am planning on purchasing the following Zyxel switch -
Zyxel GS1900-48HPv2

Along with the following Zyxel VDSL/ADSL router -
Zyxel XMG3927-B50A

If I understand correctly, I can create multiple VLANS, each with their own LAN Subnet, DHCP server and gateway address, in the router and then route traffic for each of these VLANS via the switch.

Is that a sensible way of doing it and do I have the correct hardware choices?

The Zyxel XMG3927-B50A is simple home router with one subnet you need like a VPN100 and AP

Thank you Peter, I will have a look at the VPN100 in that case. Did not realise that.
