EMG6726-B10A and Sonos

Recently switched to EMG6726-B10A router.  Sonos app won't recognize the wireless network.  Had to connect a Sonos speaker to router (via cable) and then use that network to connect all other equipment.  Not ideal at all, because the router (and now the speaker) is in a closet.  Any ideas why Sonos app won't recognize the wireless network?

I don't know why, but Sonos has some help instructions for this situation at https://support.sonos.com/s/article/1061?language=en_US
