What happen when Wireless controller down?
Dear all,
I'd like to make clear on the operating situation when the Wcontroller is suddently down.
I've tested to disconnect the controller then all the AP's LED will be blinking Red and discontinue internet access.
Is it right operation that the APs will no longer provide the access connection to clients once they could not see the controller ? Does it mean all the wifi system will be depended in wireless controller so we should always have a 2nd controller to backup?
Thanks for your advice.

Hi @Nebz
AP's LED
1. Slow Red blinking: searching for AP
2. Fast Red blinking: reboot
You don't have to use two controllers in your environment.
The controller will not affect the stations to surf internet if
1. the gateway of the station is not controller
2. the controller is not on the way from the station to the internet
3. it is using local bridge mode, not tunnel mode.
Please let me know if it resolves your question.
Thanks.
Joslyn
