XGS1250-12 - Jumbo Frames / MTU setup

Hi,

I am considering buying XGS1250-12 and I can see that it can work with max 12kb jumbo frames.

I think I have also seen that there is no control over size of it in the webinterface.

Does it mean that jumbo frames will work if I set my devices connected to it to anything lower than 12kb / 12000 MTU?

Does anybody have working experience with it? My NIC allows me to jup 9000 and then 18000 so I guess I would have to settle for 9kb on my NIC and NAS?

Hi @sebna,

The XGS1250-12 support 12 KB jumbo frame by default, you don't need to set anything on switch.

So you can connect with your devices which set jumbo frames to lower than 12 KB.
