VPN disconnects between USG-Flex 200 and Zywall USG-20

No, the ISP is the same. As far as I know, there were no changes.

It seems to me that something is not working inside Zywall USG-20. I can always reach it in https and ssh, but it seems that it's unable to reconnect tunnel by itself. As if it is ignoring "nailed up" settings.

If I logon and

-deactivate vpn policy

-save

-reactivate vpn policy

-save

it connects immediately.

And all the times.

What could be an ISP issue that prevents tunnel connection but allows it with this actions?

So, at this moment, the answer is no.

And it doesn't work as before.

You may have a try on 3.30WK48 firmware which is the latest version released at Dec 2016. If the issue still exist, we may need further troubleshoot via private message.

I have this (and have reloaded it some day ago), is it the same? .bin files have different sizes

3.30WK48 firmware was released at Dec 2016. 
The firmware include some minor fixes for specific scenarios.
You may have a try 3.30WK48 firmware first. If still doesn't help, may need further troubleshoot by private message.

I update on this issue.

I asked the ISP, they saw some issue on line and tried to reboot their router.

From then vpn has been working. After some day I reactivated all IPSEC/L2TP part (I had deactivated it to diagnose) and again all kept working.
