How do I setup my EMG3525-T50B as access point

I have logged in to the router with default settings, but I can't seem to find where to setup the router as access point.

Please advise

You will need to give your name to download it, but that user guide should give you help.

The user guide is also available at https://spdl.zyxel.com/VMG8623-T50B/user_guide/VMG8623-T50B_1.pdf and find the section called Wireless.

Thank you Tony. I have gone through the user guide, but still I can't find how to setup the router form "router" mode to "access point" mode.

You're welcome.

The EMG3525-T50B is not a standalone access point.

It is a router, with WiFi access available to it.
       - see section 1.1.6 of the User Guide, and chapter 7 of the User Guide.

Thank you, but I think you are misunderstanding me. You get a router with wireless access yes, then you get repeaters, range extenders and access point. Access points work in the same principle as range extenders/repeaters but the model I have do not have range extender/repeater options.

My router must connect to my internet router and distribute internet access to an area in the house with low quality connection, just as a range extender or repeater would do.

I suggest that the EMG3525-T50B does not do what you want.

Zyxel have their Multy-X WiFi mesh products see https://www.zyxel.com/global/en/products/wifi-system/ac3000-tri-band-wifi-system-multy-x , and also WiFi Range Extender WRE2206 see https://www.zyxel.com/global/en/products/wifi-extender/wireless-n300-range-extender-wre2206

and lots of other Wireless products including Access Points, see https://www.zyxel.com/global/en/products/wireless and https://www.zyxel.com/global/en/products/wifi-extender

Personally, I have used TP-Link RE300 WiFi range extenders with my Zyxel router in order to provide WiFi coverage in my home.

Ah, so it is only a fibre router. Thank you for the assistance. Now I can throw this thing away or give it to the church.
