Where can I download the latest firmware?

My switch is running what looks to be an archaic V1.00(BVN.1)

Welcome to the Zyxel community!
V1.00(BVN.1) is the latest firmware of GS1510-24 since it has been end-of-life for a few years ago. 
May I know why you are seeking for new firmware? Are you looking for new feature?
If you are looking for a new switch to replace your GS1510-24, I suggest GS1920-24v2 which has similar specifications to GS1510-24.

So long as it is the latest firmware, then I am sure it will work for my purposes. ;-)
