xgs1250-12 LAG with Cisco switches
Hi! We're considering buying the xgs1250-12 switch to connect our router to the switch with a 10Gbit/s link. We have a few "old" Cisco switches and i saw that the xgs1250-12 supports link aggregation, but not LACP.
How can I link aggregate the 2 or 4 1Gbit/s ports together and connect them to the 1Gbit/s Cisco switch?
What is the Cisco equivalent to "Static Link Aggregation"?
Can you offer a configuration example for Cisco IOS switches?
How does the different "Link Aggregation Algorithms" work with Cisco switches?

Hi @chhaugen,
Welcome to the Zyxel community!
You can use Etherchannel on your Cisco switch.
About the XGS1250-12 Link Aggregation setup, please go to the Link Aggregation page and choose the Link Aggregation Group.
For the Cisco Etherchannel, I found this website, you can reference it to set up your Cisco switch.
The Link Aggregation Algorithm is used to determine the outgoing traffic distribution algorithm in this trunk group. For the Cisco switch, you can ask on the Cisco forum.
