XGS2210-52 Change IGMP Query Interval via CLI
Hi there,
we have a XGS210-52 switch.
We want to alter the IGMP querier interval.
For now the general queries are sent each 125 s. We checked with Wireshark.
In the web UI there is no parameter available.
We checked the CLI documentation.
To read out the actual value the command
show ip igmp timer
returns
Invalid commant "igmp"
Trying to start the configuration with
ip igmp query-interval <1-65535>
fails.
Entering config mode with
configure
router igmp
returns
No callback for "igmp"
Can someone point out how to read the value and how to configure it?
Kind Regards
Bernhard

Hi @bseiz,
Welcome to the Zyxel community!
Sorry, the XGS2210 could not change the IGMP querier interval time.
Could you share your scenario of why you need to change the IGMP querier interval?0

Dear Melen, thank you for your response! We are developing devices for the broadcast segment and a have some applications using multicast. For development test environments a shorter querier interval would be nice. We use normally 30s instead of 125s. It speeds up testing multiple scenarios. We have also some GS1900-24(E) switches where the interval can be setup via UI.Therefore we wondered why the much bigger XGS2210 does not offer this.Kind RegardsBernhard0
