There's a FAQ post about how to configure port forwarding.

The thing is I can see the router DROP the request in the log. But it does not tell you what rule is causing the DROP. is there anyway to find out?
thanks.

Have you made a firewall rule to allow from WAN to LAN1?
And have you made a NAT rule for Virtual Server?

I did WAN to LAN1, Virtual Server. yes. I wish there was a way for the router to tell you what the Rule is implementing the DROP.0
-
But you also need to make a firewall rule have you done that?
