“Standby feature” to have an energy saving and low radiation.

Basing on user @Idaho8 's sharing , we would like to propose that AP should be able to provide “Standby feature” where the device goes into a energy saving and low radiation standby mode when no client is connected to the AP.

I'd like to know in a standardized setup the consumption gain between “efficient setup” and “not efficient setup”.

Often a comparable newer device requre less energy than an older one.
