Zxyel GS1200 Load balancer, WAN Fail Over,
Hey Guys!
I recently purchased this from a local vendor. I am looking to connect to two different ISP. I am looking for mainly load balancing and automatic switching to different ISP in case one network goes down.
Some guides say that this is only possible using Link Aggregation.
Have I bought a wrong product?

Hello @noaman
The GS1200 is a Layer 2 web-managed switch and does not have built-in WAN failover functionality. If you require WAN failover, you would need to use a router or firewall that supports this feature. The Zyxel VPN Firewall or Next-Gen Firewall would be suitable options for this purpose.
Thanks @PeterUK for prompt support as always.
If you have any further questions or require assistance in selecting the appropriate product for your needs, please do not hesitate to ask.
Best regards,
Nami
