Dear ZYXEL Team,
is ZYXEL planning to provide an Androis - SSL VPN client for USG Devices?
Several Hotspots are bocking IPSEC connections, but you are able to connect trough SSL-VPN :/

Or ... is there a known SSLVPN Client existing with ZYWALL USG devices ?

Regards
Christian

    Is there a thread topic for "long overdue idea" or perhaps "get with the program" ?

    Hi @Paluszak

    IOS and Android OS have supported build-in VPN client software.

    You can use it to build L2TP VPN tunnel for the same purpose before mobile SSL SecuExtender has supported.

    @Zyxel_Stanley

    i correct the question as follows ?

    is ZYXEL palnning to support 3rd party SSL-VPN (like OpenVPN) to get successful connected?

    L2TP is not primaly allowed at hotspots or hotel wifi ? but TLS 1.x is by default allowed ?

    Therefore the question concerning SSL-VPN in the background of future, ditigal workplaces and usability on the faforit Operating Systems (Windows/iOS/Android).

    Quite strange... SSLVPN IS OpenVPN driver. TAP driver, modified by Zyxel. :)

    Hi @mMontana

    Yes, the virtual NIC TAP-32 have driver signed by Zyxel. It’s only for Zyxel connection.

    Says, you cannot establish tunnel via OpenVPN TAP-32 virtual Ethernet adapters

    @Zyxel_Cooldia

    my ISP Firewall served the ready to import OpenVPN configuration to import this to Android/iOS OpenVPN aplication. In this case, no trouble of config issues for estaplishing a SSLVPN ?

    So this manufactr to not need any invest to update the SSLVPN software self - only the export options to be usable also for further versions of the SSLVPN.

    And SSLVPN is popular by other vendors and not only for iOS/Windows availible ?
