Does Content Filter No Longer Work On USG40/60's

Hi,

We have a few sites running USG 40 & 60's (Latest Firmware)

We yearly provide them with the subscription for AV & Content Filter.

We have noticed on at least 2 of them that the content filter no longers seems to block sites, i.e. Gambling etc.

Has this feature now been removed and if so why are you still able to buy the subscription ?

Sorry for the misleading, USG40/60 does not support SSL inspection which is for SafeSearch scenario, not HTTPS traffic.
May I know which website that cannot be blocked? and could you provide screenshots of your Content Filter setting? thank you.

We still provide services for Anti-Virus and Content Filter.
May I know more information about what you encounter? which website? how's the log display? Could you clear the browser cache and test again?

Hi James, In doing a little further testing it seems that if the website is https it just lets it pass where it used to just say page not available. We have the "Enable HTTPS Domain Filter For HTTPS traffic" ticked

But most sites these days are https so it basically blocking hardly any banned site categories.

Any reason this has stopped working ?

For HTTPS traffic, please apply SSL inspection which allows you to check SSL-encrypted packages to let Content Filter works with HTTPS traffic.
