IPS based on vlan/interface/zone

Hi,
IPS is a very good system but due to same false positives in the intra VLAN detection, I would like to better tune on which traffic it is enabled. At thius time it is only possible to add ip based exclusion but this is'nt optimal. For example I prefer to avoid intra lan checking but only on WAN traffic at the beginning.
The request is to add a feature to IPS allowing to select on which traffic enable it.
