I would like to know if I can use external antennas to boost the wifi signal strength rather than the LTE signal

Welcome to the forum.
Looking at the hardware specifications at https://www.zyxel.com/global/en/products/mobile-broadband/4g-lte-indoor-router-lte3202-m437/specifications , I think that you can not do what you would like to do.
- because the 2 WiFi antennas are internal antennas.
You could try using a WiFi Extender or a Multy mesh system to give extended WiFi coverage.
