    The Cisco MAC IS my ISP WAN gateway the other MAC is one I set in Zywall

    I also overwrite my WAN MAC address, but still can't see issue.

    I didn't even turn on conn-check.

    Like I say this happened with privatevpn.com server so their server are the reason testing with what ever server your using will not cause the same result I was seeing.

    You have the packet capture to replay packets.

    I have since moved on from privatevpn.com to test another VPN service.

    For example I'm now test at www.hideipvpn.com and their L2TP connection is fine so likely its how privatevpn.com server are that cause a problem with the USG reconnect.

    Not sure who contact but the edit button don't seem to work on this site any more
