Hi all,

I am gradually setting up my NBG7510 more, and it is mostly fine.

However, why does the NBG7510 reply saying that it is zyxelwifi.com as a DNS server?

    Hi @tonygibbs16

The default server name in nslookup command is the domain name (FQDN) of the primary DNS server that is configured as the DNS server that was assigned by the network's DHCP server.

    Thanks @Zyxel_Jerry for your reply.

My Zyxel DSL home gateway is using Google DNS 8.8.8.8 as its DNS server rather than the one given out by my ISP, so that comes back as 8.8.8.8 or dns.google

So I am confused as to why the NBG7510 is returning an FQDN of zyxelwifi.com when I have not seen it before.

    Thoughts?

    Kind regards,

    Tony
