Why is a Radius server IP address not accepted on a WAX620D-6E?

While trying to configure my Radius Server, so that the WAX620D-6E can authenticate clients against it, I’m getting a bogus error message: “The value should be an IP address”.

The value is an IP address. I double-checked that there is no typo, no zero-length space(s), no trailing space(s), no other weird bytes.

My firmware version is V6.55(1) (2023-04-10 04:23:22).

What is going on here? How does one configure a Radius server on this AP?

    Hi there,

At the present, you can configure IPv4 address as RADIUS server IP Address.

By the way, we assume that the IPv6 address as RADIUS server IP Address is also useful for other users, so, we would like to propose it as an idea for evaluation. You can find the link to the idea section below:

Can configure My RADIUS server with IPv6 address. — Zyxel Community
