We're now using since 2 years NWA210AX with 2.5 Gb RJ45, our pc's for designers have already 2.5 Gb network and our latest series of desktoppc's for simple officework now also have 2.5 Gb standard. While our servers standard come with 10 Gb, we are now simply bottlenecked by the switch (currently using XGS1930-52HP).

The XMG1930-30(HP) don't have enough ports for most of our cliënts. Server uses 3 ports, access points, printers, VOIP… so a full 48 2.5 Gb + some 10 Gb connections should be ideal (with PoE)

    Hi @nielsscheldeman,

Thanks for sharing your needs with us.

Could you share more detailed information about your scenario? Like your topology and how many 2.5G devices are you using?

    Hello,

A client of ours has 1 server with 10 Gb NIC connected, 1 10 Gb NIC connected on 1 Gb and 1 Gb NIC connected on 1 Gb NWA210AX (2.5 Gb able) and 25 cliënt computers which are going to be replaced in 2-3 years and they all gonna have have 2.5 Gb NIC's. For the rest some MFC's which have enough. So we need around 40 connections where there are 32 2.5 Gb connected in the future. Mixture of 24 2.5 Gb and 24 1 Gb can work too, but then we have to look again in detail on what we connect to. So full 48 ports 2.5 Gb and PoE and 4 SFP+ ports would be nice

    Hi @nielsscheldeman,

Thank you for your inquiry about the XMG1930 series switch. We understand your need for a switch with more ports to accommodate your growing network requirements. However, as of now, Zyxel does not have plans to implement the 52 ports model of the XMG1930 series switch.

We understand that the XMG1930-30(HP) might not have enough ports for your needs. As a workaround, we suggest considering the purchase of two XMG1930-30(HP) switches. This should provide you with a sufficient number of ports to meet your customer's requirements.

Please note that we will continue to monitor the popularity of this post and the market demand for the 52 ports multi-gig switch.

We hope this solution can meet your needs. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out.
