You can also open some websites when you run Wireshark. This is used to capture the traffic to clarify the problem.

Also, could you try ping 168.95.1.1 and ping 168.95.1.1 -l 1500 when the client is connecting with issue MG-105? Since the previous result, I want to verify if the switch can forward 1514-byte packets.

Maybe your NIC is set with jumbo packet bigger then 1514?

Yes nothing makes sense as to why one works and the other does not so swap them over to see what happens.
