GS 1900 Firmware Upgrade - 2.70v5 vs 2.70v3 differences

Hope this is not a repeat question. I was hoping someone could point me in the direction.
I am upgrading a work switch. The obvious answer to upgrading would be to upgrade to 2.70v5 with no questions asked.
I am curious if there is any way to get specifics about my current versions firmware(old 2.20) vs 2.70v5 vs 2.70v3. I figure the long way is to just read the documentation for every single firmware from then to now.
