Problems with Zyxel VMG1312-B30A Telekom
Freshman Member
Hello,
I recently signed up for a MagentaZuhause S and yesterday the technician came over and activated the home connection.
Unfortunately, I'm not able to connect to the internet, neither by following the video from Zyxel () nor by following the instructions (https://www.telekom.de/hilfe/geraete-zubehoer/router/zyxel/vmg1312-b30a?samChecked=true). Strangely enough, I was connected for about 20 minutes and all end devices had internet access, but after a reboot, no connection could be established. Under interface status, DSL was showing "no Link". Overnight, the status changed to Connected (RX:16736/ TX:2495(Kbps)).
In the screenshots, you can see my settings.
Thank you for your help!

Hello @Zhonnie
Welcome to the forum.
Am I correct in assuming that you are using ADSL?
Looking at https://www.telekom.de/hilfe/downloads/routing-modus-dt-version-zyxel-vmg1312-b30a.pdf I think that the VLAN section does not need to be used with ADSL.
The document says against the VLAN section "Bitte nur bei einem VDSL2 zugang der Telekom verwenden, ansonsten den ISP (provider) fragen!!"
So I would try unticking VLAN Activ and try again.
I hope that this is helpful.
Kind regards,
Tony
