Device Insight feature allows the network administrator knowledge of the network including wired, wireless, BYOD, and IoT devices. And the administrator can add/remove the device to the block list to reduce the potential attack.
However, some users may concern about what kind of host would be shown on the Device Insight table.
Answer:
• Using wired connections.
• Through access points (APs) using wired connections.
• Through access points (APs) using WiFi connections.
• Through built-in access points using WiFi connections.
• Using SecuExtender (IPSec VPN clients).
*Please note that Device Insight only shows the VPN client who connected with SecuExtender, Window Bulit-in VPN, or macOS Build-in are not supported.
