Symptoms:
UserA reported that they were unable to find how to configure VLANs for their Empire Switch in the Nebula system. UserB also faced a similar issue and sought guidance on VLAN setup.
Root Cause:
The users were experiencing difficulty in configuring VLANs on their switches within the Nebula system.
Solution:
To configure VLANs for the switch in the Nebula system, follow these steps:
- Log in to the Nebula system and navigate to "configure" > "Switch ports."
- Locate the "allowed VLANs" setting and input the desired VLAN IDs (e.g., 10 and 20).
3. After entering the VLAN IDs, the Nebula system will automatically create VLANs 10 and 20 in the background and assign the specified port to both VLANs.
Note: Please be cautious while making changes especially when changing on the uplink.
