Hey everyone! We are going to upgrade soon from Usg60w to usg310.

Any way to make usg60w to work in pair with usg310 but work as access point only ? Wifi

Also how do I copy all current settings on usg60w to usg310 ? Or Do i have to put it manually from scratch?
Thanks

For copying the current settings to the usg310 I think it will not gonna work. Because configurations are devices specific so you can't just copy and paste it. You can do it for the same kind of devices. What you can do, you can download the config file and use it as a reference and set the second one up from scratch.

Thanks for the help. We have 3 access points, but we will also use usg60w as standalone ap.

hello everyone ! Finally switched to USG 310. Works good so far.

    Need help with Standalone USG60W.

At the moment we have  3 AP.

    2 managed by USG310  (NWA5121-N V5.00 Patch 5 _5.10(.5) )
1 as standalone NWA5123-AC ( V5.30(AAZY.2) ) in far corner of the office ( I dont have more licenses for USG310 to manage in it )

So far our gateway ( USG310 is 192.168.0.210)
I've changed the lan1 address of USG60W to 192.168.0.209 ( can now access it)

    Ive done this
On USG60W, go to CONFIGURATION > Security policy > Policy Control, turn off "Enable Policy Control
    ".
Go to CONFIGURATION > Security policy > ADP, turn off "Enable Anomaly Detection and Prevention".
Go to CONFIGURATION > Wireless > Controller > Registration Type, select "Manual".

How do I create wifi for office now?
Also need guest network with Vlan.

Any help would be great. Thanks!

By the way. USG60W is not plugged into USG310 LAN port directly.
Usg60w plugged into commutator in the same network. Is it ok?

    Hi @sk8erbender,

Yes, you can connect a switch between USG310 and USG60W.

To create Wi-Fi, go to CONFIGURATION > Object > AP Profile > SSID and edit the default SSID profile.

Set security profile and select outgoing interface.

In the example, I set P3-P6 as LAN1 and outgoing interface as lan1.

On lan1, set IP address 192.168.1.10 and DHCP setting is NONE.

Connect USG60W to USG310. On wireless client, connect to the USG60W's SSID and gets IP from USG310.

    ISP-----(P1)USG310(P3: 192.168.1.1)-------(P3)USG60W

If you'd like to configure VLAN, create a VLAN interface based on ge3 with VLAN ID on USG310.

On USG60W, edit SSID profile and configure the same VLAN ID and turn VLAN support on.

Then configure VLAN settings on switch.

    ISP---(P1)USG310(P3: 192.168.1.1)----switch---(P3)USG60W
