Trunk Mode and Access Mode in Nebula Switch VLAN refer to different methods of configuring VLAN memberships on switch ports. Trunk Mode is used when you have a VLAN-capable device on the peer side and allows for both tagged and untagged traffic. Access Mode, on the other hand, is used on ports where connected end devices are not VLAN-capable, such as desktop PCs and laptops, and only allows untagged traffic.
