Zyxel Layer 3 switches support VLAN routing. However, some users might face routing problems between different VLANs. They usually use ping to verify the routing problem. This FAQ is going to guide troubleshooting this problem.

Please check:

  1. Check if your PCs have set the default gateway as the switch’s VLAN interface IP address. If not, please configure it.
  2. Check if the PCs have disabled the Windows firewall. If not, please disable it and test again.
  3. Check if the switch has any policy route rule. If yes, please disable it.
  4. Check if the PC has enabled the Wi-Fi function. If yes, please disable it.
