It is recommended not to connect LACP ports before setting up LACP or your network will cause loops.

However, if you have already enabled RSTP on both switches, you can set up LACP later. This is because if the switch does not receive the LACP probe packet, the ports will be blocked and won’t cause a loop. However, if you set up with static trunk, the loop will occur.
