WireGuard® is an extremely simple yet fast and modern VPN that utilizes state-of-the-art cryptography.

It aims to be fastersimpler, leaner, and more useful than IPSec, while avoiding the massive headache.
It intends to be considerably more performant than OpenVPN. WireGuard is designed as a general purpose VPN for running on embedded interfaces and super computers alike, fit for many different circumstances. Initially released for the Linux kernel, it is now cross-platform and widely deployable.
It is currently under heavy development, but already it might be regarded as the most secure, easiest to use, and simplest VPN solution in the industry.

It is already being adopted: easily available in Linux, VPN providers like AzireVPN support it and open source routers like Ubiquity, and OpenWRT show good performance.

    Hi @Alfonso and all

Thanks for your suggestion. We had aware about this technology. However, It’s not in roadmap and no plan to support it yet.

We're keeping our eyes on the trend on this technology, once it get popular in the market, we will have some reaction of it.

  • As much I do agree that it is sad it isn't supported yet, people should not only reply to this request and post agreement, but also put a "Like" on it, as that is the way how Zyxel determines the wish of their customers according to the FAQ.
