WireGuard® is an extremely simple yet fast and modern VPN that utilizes state-of-the-art cryptography.

It aims to be faster, simpler, leaner, and more useful than IPSec, while avoiding the massive headache.
It intends to be considerably more performant than OpenVPN. WireGuard is designed as a general purpose VPN for running on embedded interfaces and super computers alike, fit for many different circumstances. Initially released for the Linux kernel, it is now cross-platform and widely deployable.
It is currently under heavy development, but already it might be regarded as the most secure, easiest to use, and simplest VPN solution in the industry.

It is already being adopted: easily available in Linux, VPN providers like AzireVPN support it and open source routers like Ubiquity, and OpenWRT show good performance.

Despite not yet mainlined into the Linux Kernel, most distros already have it in their repositories or even pack it into the standard distro.

I wished ZyXEL would include it into their ZyWalls. (USG....)

That would be a great way to connect from my Linux Notebook to the company network.
As well as connecting two ZyWalls (VPN connections) for conneting our external work shop to the main office.
(NB: Many clients are available, and also a windows client is under development. https://github.com/WireGuard)

Wireguard has now officially landed in the upcoming standard kernel (5.6) - and therefore is going to work without requiring any DKMS (Dynamic Kernel Module Support), by which many distributions have already delivered wireguard.

Furthermore, many distributions have already done some backporting to other, older kernels (used in there recent or upcoming releases).

So: Are there any plans by ZYXEL to implement wireguard into various ZyWALLs (like the USG-Series).

Not once in the undefined future, but within a reasonable (short) time frame?

Thanks for your suggestion. We had aware about this technology. However, It’s not in roadmap and no plan to support it yet.

We're keeping our eyes on the trend on this technology, once it get popular in the market, we will have some reaction of it.

Very sad, that ZYXEL does not have any plans to support WireGuard in a timely manner.

As much I do agree that it is sad it isn't supported yet,people should not only reply to this request and post agreement, but also put a "Like" on it, as that is the way how Zyxel determines the wish of their customers according to the FAQ.
