Problem time sync Zywall 1050

There is a problem with time synchronization on Zyxell Zywall 1050 devices, firmware version 2.20 (Xl. 5). When setting the time to synchronize with the NTP server and force a synchronization request (ntp sync command), we successfully obtain the time from the NTP server. According to the documentation for the zywall 1050, time synchronization should occur automatically in the next 24 hours, but this does not happen and the time reading on the zywall device begins to diverge from the time on the NTP server. Tell me what could be the problem? You may need update firmware?

Welcome to the Zyxel community. As the ZyWALL 1050 has been EOL and no longer firmware support, it is uncertain whether the issue is related to hardware or software.
We recommend considering a replacement with the FLEX/ATP series.
