This guide provides instructions on how to program a schedule for enabling or disabling the PoE (Power over Ethernet) function on specific ports of your GS1900 HP switch.
Step-by-Step Guide:
- Creating a Time Schedule:
- Access the Switch's Web GUI.
- Navigate to SYSTEM > Time Range > Add/Edit.
- Set up the desired schedule for switching the PoE ports on or off, choosing from various day and time options.
- Assigning the Schedule to Ports:
- Go to PORT > PoE Setup > PoE Time Range Setup.
- Click on "Port" in the top right corner.
- Select the ports you wish to assign a schedule to, editing each one individually.
- Editing Port Settings:
- In the editing mode, you'll see the selected ports.
- Choose the schedule (e.g., "Test-Schedule") for each port.
- Confirm your changes.
- Reviewing the Scheduled Ports:
- In the port overview section, you can see which ports have a schedule set.
- The status indicator will show whether the port is currently powered (In) or not (Out) based on the schedule.
- Saving Your Configuration:
- To ensure your settings are retained after a restart, save the changes using the Save button located in the top right corner.
