When should you choose DHCP Server Guard over DHCP Snooping?

DHCP Server Guard is the preferred choice if your primary requirement is to block untrusted DHCP servers without needing to record the packet details. It is also more CPU resource-efficient.

Conversely, opt for DHCP Snooping when there is a need to block untrusted DHCP servers and simultaneously record trusted DHCP server packets in the IPSG table.
