Use Nebula Loop Guard when you want to prevent network issues caused by loops. Loops may happen when at the side of the switch's access port connection. This can lead to network congestion and instability. Loop Guard sends out special probe packets to detect these loops. If a loop is detected, it automatically shuts down the port where the loop occurs, safeguarding your network's performance and stability.
Remember, Loop Guard is not recommended enabled on ports that use Spanning Tree Protocol (RSTP, MRSTP, or MSTP).
