How to categorize the Zyxel Nebula switch product range?

The Zyxel Nebula Switch can be classified between the Simplicity, Flexibility, and Ultimate line up.

Simplicity switch models

• The GS1915 series is most affordable hybrid switch solution for SB or SMR market. It can be easily through Nebula control center for cloud based unified management or with its friendly Web GUI if you still prefer local setting.

Flexibility switch models

• The GS1920 series switch offers rich L2 features such as LACP, advanced QoS, VLAN, ACL and multicast IGMP snooping.
• The GS1930 series surveillance switch consists of models with specialized hardware and software for modern surveillance network. Note that, only 6-port model supports the 802.3bt PoE mode.
• The other 1930 models all support standard L2 switch features but with the addition of static routing for client traffic. These switches’ different capabilities can be easily identified by the name of their series.
  • XGS1930 models have majority of ports with 1Gbps max link speed, while the last few ports support 10Gbps. These models are capable of delivering PoE up to 30 watts.
  • XMG1930 models have majority of ports with 2.5Gbps max link speed, while the last few ports support 10Gbps. These models provide PoE delivery up to 60 watts.
  • XS1930 models have all their ports support 10Gbps max link speed. This switch model also supports PoE delivery of up to 60 watts.

Ultimate switch models

This switch line up comes with the widest range of switch features designed to meet converged data, video, and voice networking needs.

• The GS2220 series comes with the complete L2 switch features on top of multiple management option including Web GUI, CLI, SNMP, and Cloud management.
• The XS3800 series comes with the complete L2 and L3 switch features. With its rich switch features and 10Gbps link speed and cloud stacking management, this series is suitable for SMB core switching.
• The XGS4600 series comes with Gigabit connectivity and four integrated 10-Gigabit SFP+ slots that enable high-speed uplink connections for affordable, reliable network elements. It also allows creating a physical stack through one or two 10-Gigabit SFP+ slots. This series is also suitable for SMB core switching.
