PLA6457 not compatible with Devolo Magic 2

Hello,

My PLA6457s are not compatible with the Devolo Magic 2 WiFi 6, whereas both support G.hn protocol. Is there something specific to set up ?

Welcome to the forum.

Neither of these G.hn devices has been through the HomeGridForum Interoperability testing for G.hn , see https://homegridforum.org/g-hn-home-networking-certification/ and https://homegridforum.org/products-category/powerline-2/

Some Devolo products are listed, but not your model, and no Zyxel products are listed as certified.

So I don't think that they will work together. You might have to buy products from the same manufacturer or ones that have been certified.

But not the Zyxel product. But Zyxel claims that this product is G.hn compliant in its datasheet : https://download.zyxel.com/PLA6457/datasheet/PLA6457_1.pdf

Forget it. They are fully compatible. I'm just stupid. You just need to reset both of them in order to restart a pairing session from scratch as they need to be on the same G.hn network.
