[Nebula]How to set up remote access VPN on Android phone?
Question:
I would like to use remote access VPN on my Android phone. How do I set up remote access VPN on an Android phone?
Answer:
Nebula remote access VPN supports StrongSwan for remote access VPN. We can easily download the StrongSwan configuration file and import it to the Android phone to establish remote access VPN. The steps are as follows:
Step 1: Download StrongSwan from the Google Play Store.
Step 2: Download the configuration file from Nebula. It can be found at Site-wide > Configure > Firewall > Remote access VPN.
Step 3: Extract the zip file and locate the StrongSwan file in the IPSec VPN folder.
The file name is RemoteAccess_Android_IPSec_VPN.sswan.
Step 4: Send this file to the Android mailbox or try to import it to the media manager.
Step 5: In this guide, we will use the media manager to import the configuration file to StrongSwan.
Step 6: Select the file, then enter the username and password to import the profile into StrongSwan.
Once the profile is created, we can click to build up remote access VPN tunnel to the firewall.
