It's noticed that while some APs successfully switch to new settings, others do not and remain on the original. This inconsistency can stem from a few reasons, primarily due to how the controller handles commands for multiple APs.
1. Adjust Command Interval: When deploying configurations to multiple APs simultaneously, especially with different SSIDs, introduce a delay between commands. A script with a delay time of 10-15 seconds before each new command can mimic GUI operations and help avoid overwhelming the controller.
2. Restart APs After Bulk Changes: After making significant changes, reboot all affected APs. This action triggers a fresh config sync with the controller, ensuring that all settings.
