VPN, disconnect after a few minutes

Hello,

At our company, we utilize Zyxel VPN. Recently, we acquired a new laptop and proceeded to install the Secure Extended 4.0.2.0 version designed for Windows. Subsequently, we attempted to connect using an existing user account.

However, upon initial connection, the VPN promptly disconnects. We endeavored to find similar cases within the community forums.

  • The password consists solely of alphabetical characters.
  • Checked that Zyxel is correctly installed as a service and has been initiated as a driver.
  • Attempted to upgrade to the latest version (4.0.4), but encountered the same results. Consequently, we reverted to our previous version (4.0.2.0), as all other employees are using it without issue, save for the new laptop.
  • We installed Visual C++, but the issue persists.

Could you please advise on how to resolve this issue and successfully establish a stable connection?

    Greeting Forum, Please kindly disable system-protect and reboot device.

    Router# configure terminal
    Router(config)# idp system-protect deactivate
    Router(config)# show idp system-protect activation
    idp system-protect activation: no
    Router(config)# write
    Router(config)# exit

    Router#reboot
