NWA5123-NI - create guest wifi when low on IP adresses
Greetings,
we have a class C network and we're getting low on free IP adresses. But we'd also like to expand our wifi-network with an guest network, but that would mean even more devices would take up the already scarce adresses.
For the moment it would be too much effort to expand our subnet.
So my question is, does the NWA5123-NI offer any options that would help us?
The best thing would be that the guest network would be in a completly different subnet with only WAN access, but we alraedy use the devices for our main network

Hi @Yser
1. Would you like to try to modify the lease time to be a short time of the class C network? Maybe for 4 or 6 hours. The IP address will be free if the station does not renew its own IP address.
2. You can configure the "user idle timeout" on NWA5123-NI. However, it still needs to co-operate with the DHCP server. Because NWA5123-NI could kick off the station when the user idle timeout, but the IP address might be still kept on the DHCP server.
Thanks.
