Users may encounter situations where the antivirus signature cannot be updated normally. This article will guide you on how to resolve this issue.

Answer :
Please use the CLI command "show anti-virus signatures status" to check if the Anti-Virus signature version and release date are up-to-date or not, as shown below:

Router> show anti-virus signatures status
type : Anti-Malware Signature
current version : 2.1.3.20240509.0
release date : 2024-05-09 17:42:20 (UTC+00:00)
signature vendor: Bitdefender

If you find that the signature is not up-to-date, the possible reason could be that the firewall is unable to resolve the signature download link's URL. To resolve this issue, please add a DNS Domain Zone Forwarder entry for zyxel.com to 8.8.8.8 via the WAN interface, as shown below:
