Scenario: To avoid particular traffic from guest users hogging too much bandwidth. To fix this, limit the speed of guest traffic. Set up a separate network for guests and then used the access points to cap the speed for this network, ensuring guests couldn't use too much bandwidth and others could enjoy a smoother internet experience.

Following the below steps, you can limit specific VLAN interfae's speed rate to overall enhance network performance and stability according to your requirements.

  1. Navigate to Nebula >> Configure >> Access points >> Traffic shaping

  2. Click the +Add button to create a new VLAN rate limitation rule.
  3. Specify the VLAN id and the Rate limit to configure the limited download / Upload rate, then click the Save button to keep the modifications.
