Problem NAT on PPPoE interface - router USG-2000

Hello,

I have a ZyXEL USG 2000 software version: 3.30(AQW.7)

I have set the P7 and P8 as PPPoE WAN interface.

I also set configuration→interface→trunk : ge7 pppoe and ge8 pppoe

Then in config → netowrk→policy route i add a rule that say everything came on my lan interface has a next hop as Trunk ge7 pppoe or g8 pppoe, but it doesn t work.

I have tryed for the last 2 days to make it work, but it seems that dosen t want to make nat over pppoe. If i have a static ip it works perfectly.

I also put a tp-link router with pppoe and try both connection from the provider. If i set static ip of the lan tp-link to P7 and P8, my ZyXEL works just fine.

I need some advice to make NAT work over pppoe.

10x

Ancient device… configuration looks correct, but not sure if the setup could work on USG2000. Try with the DHCP interface to verify if NAT is only not working under the PPPoE condition, and maybe logs has some info about the failure.
