USG FLEX 700 Backup / Restore configuration files

Hello everyone,

I am looking for detailed information on how to perform maintenance and backups on the ZyXEL Nebula USG FLEX 700 firewall. If anyone knows of any guides, tutorials, or resources that explain these processes, could you please share the links or the steps to follow?

"You can configure and deploy network devices before unboxing them." which means the configuration is stored in the Nebula Control Center.

You can backup the configuration file through e-mail please refer to the below link :

Or, you can backup the configuration file through Nebula Monitor mode :

Sadly, I only have those options on my POV :

In my company we're full cloud we only use Nebula, do you have another solution perhaps ? 😁

The Nebula mode will reserve the cloud configuration file on the Nebula Control Center in the backend. So even if you remove the USG Flex 700 from your organization, the configuration will still be saved on Nebula. Once you assign another USG Flex 700 to your previous site, it will immediately push the existing configuration file via Nebula.
