How to schedule a daily Access Point reboot
Hi!
I have already found and tested with success the script used to reboot USG60W manually.
I have already found and tested with success the script used to reboot USG60W manually.
But...in our office we often have to test the products of our customers and sometimes (somebody) can generate an IP conflict that "freeze" an access point.
My question:
is it possible to use a script to schedule a reboot (for a specific access point) every XX hours?
Otherwise there is a "supervision function" i can enable that can do this automatically?

Hi,
If the APs is managed by USG or NXC controller.
You can use the schedule run command on controller to run a zysh script daily.
First, prepare a zysh script file, for example "reboot-ap.zysh"(file extension should be .zysh), include the CLI commands: (XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX is the MAC address of access point)configure terminalcapwap ap reboot XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XXcapwap ap reboot XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XXexitThen, upload the zysh script file to USG or NXC controller.
Then, SSH to USG or NXC and enter the CLI commands: (this example run script at 1:30 everyday)
> configure terminal
# schedule-run 1 reboot-ap.zysh daily 01:30
# show schedule-run
# write
# exit
> exit

Thank you.
It works and is exactly what i was looking for.
By the way, the CLI command is the only way to run the scheduling, right?
I'm asking because I always prefer to have all the settings "under control" and, since I use the Web interface at 99.99%, this element would not be evident in the firewall.

@Skylink
The firmware 4.35 version has a new feature “Web Console” can fulfill the request.
User can use web interface to complete all CLI settings.
