Why my access point is not performing at the maximum throughput?

Wireless throughput will be reduced by enabling these specific AP features:

  - Captive portal

   - Rate limiting

When any of these features are enabled, the access point device needs to check the packet content, which will cause a throughput drop to roughly 100Mbps. An enhancement of these features is already in the roadmap.

*Affected devices: NWA1302-AC, NWA1123-AC HD, NWA5123-AC HD, WAC6303D-S.

In case a better throughput is required in your network, Captive portal, Guest network and Traffic shaping on Gateway can be used instead.
