192.168.1.1 doesn't work, HELP
The browser says page took to long to load. Cannot be reached. I have tried 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.1.1 both do not give me any results. Is my phone supposed to be connected to a different wifi connection for internet? I'm confused cause somewhere I read it should be connected to the router but how can it be connected to the router if I don't have the wifi password? I think I need step by step help, where do I sign in?
The router is also model EMG3525?T50C

Hi @Taz2_0
Edited to correct silly grammar errors!
Follow what @tonygibbs16 below suggests as that is good advice.
Firstly, have you read the manuals - read the quick start guide? I did a quick search for your model, registerd with Zyxel and they gave me access to the quides and manual.
On the rear of your unit you should see the log-in details and WiFi log-in credentials.Secondly, if you have two devices with the same IP address (I expect all or most of Zyxel devices to be configured as 192.168.1.1 by default) then you will likely not be able to connect to any of them on your network - which device should it connect to?
You'll need to connect only one, your router or your AP to the network, log in to its web page and then change it's default IP address to something different to the default. My advise is to keep probably the main internet router's IP address at it's default, and change the others to a known static address outside of the DHCP range. To change the AP's default IP address, you'll need to have only that one device on your network (unplug your internet router during this stage) and maybe connect that directly into your PC's Ethernet port. When doing this last step, make sure your PC's IP address and subnet are in the 192.168.1.x range, otherwise set the PC IP address to a static address, say 192.168.1.5 and then try log into your device's webpage.
After you've setup the new device with a new IP address, remember to set your PCs IP address back to what it was before (most likely will be to obtain IP from DHCP server), plug your internet router back in and the AP into the that and maybe reboot everything just to be sure all devices configure corretly.
You have to read the manuals.
Regards,
Gordon

Hello @Taz2_0
Welcome to the forum.
There is a user guide that could be useful to you at https://spdl.zyxel.com/VMG8623-T50B/user_guide/VMG8623-T50B_1.pdf which covers EMG3525-T50B model.
Are you able to connect to it using a CAT5 or 5E Ethernet cable and ping it on either 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 ?
* you should be able to run ping from a Windows or Mac or Linux computer to check physical connectivity.
* You would need to set-up the computer you are running the ping from to be on the 192.168.0.0/24 or 192.168.1.0/24 subnet with a locally allocated IP address unless one is allocated automatically using DHCP once you connect the cable.
Once you have physically connectivity and can ping successfully, then you should be able to connect using a browser.
Kind regards,
Tony

Thank you so much for responding Tony.
I actually got it right by scanning the QR code at the back of the modem.
It was just so quick I wish this information was accessible to us non technologically inclined normal people... and time would be saved.

I am glad that it has worked for you @Taz2_0 . You are welcome.
A Zyxel Support setup video on YouTube for VMG3625-T50B (a similar device) could be helpful for other people, so I have linked it below.
A video by WebAfrica was done for unboxing and setup of the EMG3525-T50B so I have linked to that on YouTube as well. (It is not a Zyxel official video but it seems quite good.)
Kind regards,
Tony
