USG FLEX H Series - Customize Zone in Remote Access VPN

In previous updates, we introduced the ability to set zones within the site-to-site VPN wizard. This update uOS version 1.21 extends similar functionality to remote access VPNs, making the configuration process more intuitive and streamlined.

Key Enhancements

1. Direct Zone Customization:
   • Users can now directly change the zone for their remote access VPN profile within the VPN setup process.
   • This eliminates the need to manually select or change the zone separately after creating the VPN profile.
2. Edit and Create Zones:
   • An edit button is now available next to the zone field, allowing users to customize the existing zone or create a new one directly from the VPN profile setup page.
   • This feature supports both IPsec VPN and SSL VPN configurations.

How to Use the New Feature

1. Access the Remote Access VPN Setup: Navigate to the IPSec VPN, remote access configuration page in your USG FLEX H Series device's web interface.
2. Zone Customization:
   • In the VPN profile setup, locate the zone field.
   • You can either choose an existing zone or click the edit button to create a new one as needed.
   • Use the same steps to configure the SSL VPN profiles if needed.
3. Save Changes: After customizing the zone, save the changes to update the VPN profile with the new settings.
