Answer: 

This issue can be related to certain Windows updates that interfere with VPN connections. Specifically, the patches KB5036893 and KB5036892 released by Microsoft have been known to break VPN functionality.

Suggestion: To resolve this issue on a Windows 10 system, we recommend removing both the KB5036893 and KB5036892 updates.

You can follow the procedure below to uninstall these updates:

1. Open the Settings app by pressing Windows + I.
2. Go to Update & Security.
3. Select View update history.
4. Click on Uninstall updates.
5. Identify and select the updates KB5036893 and KB5036892 and click Uninstall.
