Hello all,

Hello, I operate several USG flex 200hp at different locations. Manually setting up multiple VPN connections in MacOS was no problem. Manually setting up in IOS doesn't work, only via the .mobileconfig. However, the second import of a .mobileconfig deletes the VPN connection of the first. How can I set up multiple VPN connections to different locations in IOS?

thx,

Holger

    Hi @Holger_AZ

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your experience with setting up multiple VPN connections on iOS.

We understand that importing multiple VPN profiles via the .mobileconfig file on iOS can result in the previous profile being overwritten. This is a known limitation, and we are working on improving this in future firmware updates.

In the meantime, as a workaround, you can manually modify the VPN profiles to prevent them from overwriting each other:

    1. Rename each VPN profile file to make them unique.
    2. Open the VPN profile and edit the "PayloadIdentifier" string to ensure it differs between profiles.

For example, you can make these changes in the VPN profiles like this:

    VPN profile 1:

    VPN profile 2:

After modifying the profiles, you’ll be able to install and manage them individually on your iOS device.

    Hi @Holger_AZ

This fix is included in firmware version uOS 1.30. Please download the VPN profile from the USG FLEX H again and reinstall it on your iOS device.
